Spectacle in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Baden-Baden

The festival concept 

In the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage city of Baden-Baden, Germany's most influential pop radio station, SWR3, hosted the SWR3 New Pop Festival from September 14th to 16th, 2023, featuring various artists' performances.

The SWR3 New Pop Festival is an annual music festival that took place for the 28th time. Over the years, it has evolved into one of the most significant musical events in Germany and beyond, attracting music lovers from all over the world.

The event is known for its unique blend of music stars and newcomers, covering a wide spectrum of musical genres, from pop to rock to electronic music. It serves as a launching pad for emerging artists, providing them with the opportunity to kickstart a promising career. Examples like Ed Sheeran and Amy Winehouse, who graced this stage in the past, illustrate how far they have come since then and how they have grown into globally renowned megastars.

KEEN at the SWR3 New Pop Festival

Our areas of responsibility

This year, once again, we took on several areas of responsibility in organizing this fantastic festival. Just like last year, we successfully managed participant registration using our accreditation software, KEENTIX, contributing to a seamless accreditation process for artists, press, and crew. This allowed the team to focus on its core tasks: delivering great music and unforgettable moments.

But that wasn't all. In collaboration with the SWR3 New Pop Festival team, we also handled venue management for the Open Air Live stage (Kurmuschel) in the Kurgarten. It was an exciting and fulfilling challenge for us. Coordinating and planning for such a large-scale event required precision and execution. We take pride in playing our part and supporting with our expertise.

Our highlights

On the Open-Air Live stage, all the artists could be experienced up close. Before their performances, there were live interviews, and some songs were played unplugged. For example, Mayberg and Inly the Poets used the stage to promote and perform their newly released songs.Our personal highlights were the impressive performances by Raye, Olivia Dean, and Mayberg, which thrilled the audience.

The artists brought their unique talents to the stage, creating unforgettable musical moments and a special connection with the audience. For instance, Mayberg sang one of his songs in the midst of the audience, and everyone joined in.One memorable moment for us was when a guitarist forgot his guitar. It was, of course, not a problem - on that day, we had to procure three replacement guitars because there always seemed to be one missing.

This collaboration has been a great honor for us, not only because of the impressive concept and diverse experiences but also because of the trust placed in us.
