In the oldtown of Gernsbach

On four magical Saturday evenings in July and August, Gernsbach's old town became the beating heart of "AltstadtLive". Under this title, we presented a musical programme with talented local artists together with the Gernsbach Wirtschaftsförderung and the Gernsbacher Schaufenster.

We were responsible for the realisation of the musical programme. The idea was to enjoy the unique backdrop of Gernsbach's old town to the full and experience the region's diverse music scene up close.

To ensure maximum flexibility in terms of time and location, we used a mobile, modern trolley. The lighting and sound were arranged so skilfully that everything could be dismantled and reassembled at another location in no time at all. Inspired by modern street music, we designed this innovative concept ourselves. The flexible stage proved to be particularly advantageous when brief rain showers enlivened the scene.

The programme

The carefully selected programme items reflected the diversity of the regional music scene:

22.07.23: "Fülle nach Acht" - A trio with folk ballads, jazz, boogie-woogie and bossa nova.

29.07.23: "Herz & Seele" - A saxophone duo with pop and jazz classics.

05.08.23: "Duo Lagerfeld" - Enthusiasts with jazz standards translated into German, accompanied by double bass, guitar and vocals.

12.08.23: "Joe's Daughter" - An acoustic rock & pop duo with guitar and vocals.

A great project

Unforgettable evenings

This innovative series of musical events attracted numerous residents to the picturesque old town centre. The evenings were characterised by friendly interaction and visitors enjoyed not only the music, but also the wide range of culinary delights on offer on the side.

This project gave us particular pleasure, as it offered local and unknown artists a well-deserved stage. Our heartfelt thanks go to Gernsbacher Schaufenster and the business development organisation for supporting this outstanding summer project.
